THE APPLE TEACHER BADGE

The Apple Teacher Badges Course is designed to empower educators with the skills and confidence to effectively integrate Apple technology into their teaching practice. Participants in this course will explore the Apple Teacher Learning Center, where they will engage in hands-on, self-paced learning modules that focus on foundational skills for using Apple devices and apps such as iPad, Mac, Keynote, Pages, GarageBand, and iMovie.
Through this course, educators will earn badges that recognize their expertise in using Apple tools to create engaging, personalized learning experiences for students. Each badge signifies proficiency in a particular Apple app or device, equipping teachers with innovative instructional strategies that can support creativity, collaboration, and deeper student engagement across the curriculum. Course Description: This graduate credit course offers educators a flexible, self-directed professional development experience using podcasts curated by Wired Educator on topics relevant to today’s teaching environment. Through this course, educators will gain insights and practical skills in areas such as Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), instructional design, AI in education, formative assessment, and the latest educational technology tools. Educators will have the opportunity to choose from a series of podcasts, complete reflective assignments, and apply new knowledge in their classrooms.

PORT CLINTON BUNDLED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT EVENTS 24-25

Educators should attend to the all-day professional development. Log the sessions and attended along with PD Tuesday’s to equal 12.5 hours of content time. To receive credit teachers will turn in the log and a 2-page paper describing what has impacted their practice in a positive way for their practice and how they will use this new learning with students.

MAGIC SCHOOL AI CERTIFICATION FOR EDUCTORS

This course is designed to certify educators in the effective use of Magic School AI, an innovative tool tailored to support teaching and learning with artificial intelligence. Participants will learn to harness Magic School AI to streamline lesson planning, provide personalized student feedback, enhance classroom management, and support data-driven instruction. Through guided modules and practical assignments, educators will gain proficiency in using AI to save time, enrich instruction, and meet diverse student needs.
