Dr. Basinger boasts over three decades of extensive experience in the field of education, spanning across various sectors, including industry, public schools, and private school districts. Her career began as a middle school teacher in Frederick, MD, and later at Buckeye Local School District in Rayland, Ohio. Throughout her professional journey, she has held key roles such as Director of Technology, Director of Professional Development, and Director of Organizational Change.
Her academic achievements include earning her Undergraduate and Master's Degrees at Ohio University in Belmont County, and she furthered her education by obtaining a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology/Design from Ohio University in 2015. Dr. Basinger served as the Director of Professional Development Services at the Columbus Center before retiring. Following her retirement, she relocated to the Northwest Region of the state, assuming the responsibilities of Director of Professional Development Services for the Northwest Region.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Dr. Basinger is a proud parent of two children and a doting grandparent to five grandchildren. She holds her family in high regard and cherishes the moments they spend together at her residence in Northwest Ohio.
